TankLock™ — Modular cylinder transport and storage system

One tank Two modules

TankLock™ support all the cylinder sizes — snap a set on, drop the tank, done. Nothing to drill, nothing to bolt, nothing to glue.

Two TankLock™ modules slid together, joint and end block in view

01 / Join

A slide, not a bolt.

Line two modules up and push. That's the whole assembly — no tools, no hardware, nothing to lose in the boot. Once they're together they stay together: the joint won't lift apart under a rolling cylinder, and it only comes undone the way it went on, by your hand. The connector is identical on all sizes, so an Alu S40 joins an Alu S80 without an adapter.

02 / Cradle

A grid, not a block.

The bed of the cradle is a hexagonal grid on slim ribs. A wet cylinder never sits in a pool of water — it drains straight through. The cells are chamfered, so their edges grip the tank like a texture of their own, and the underside carries a one-way anti-slip pattern that bites into the boot floor. A third less material than a solid block, and every gram that's left is doing something.

03 / HOLDFAST™

Anchored like kelp.

Kelp survives on rock because of its holdfast — the root-like structure that anchors it to stone and shell and keeps it there through current and surf. We borrowed the name and the idea into our unique concept. Mirrored pattern holds in all 4 directions. Under load it needs nothing else: the weight of the cylinder is what drives the teeth in.

Fixation

Seven points.
Endless options.

Two hook nests on top, a channel with a crossbar, a tunnel through each end block. TankLock™ carries a cylinder safely on HOLDFAST™ alone — everything below is how you make it belt-and-braces.

01

The kit

6 mm bungee and a hook. Into the top nest, over the cylinder, into the nest opposite — an extra hand holding the tank down. TankLock™ doesn't need it to carry a cylinder safely; the kit is for the drive where you'd rather not think about it.

02

The module to the car

Every TankLock™ has an 8 × 12 mm tunnel through each end block. Run a bungee through and out to the anchor eyes in the boot floor, crossed — load and cradle become one piece with the car. In most cases HOLDFAST™ already keeps the cylinder where you put it; this is the extra step for slick floors, empty tanks and long roads.

03

One cylinder, same method

One set holds one tank the way a row holds six. And when you're only carrying one, the rest of the row stays put — nothing to take apart, nothing to store.

TankLock™ FIX version — two screw points in the cradle floor

04

TankLock™ FIX version

The fixed-mount version, available as an add-on in the cart. Two screw points in the cradle floor: bolt it to the garage wall and the cylinders live off the floor, or fix it permanently to a rack in the vehicle. On the wall the bungee is the safety catch — a knocked cylinder, a dog, a child running past, and the tank stays where it is.

The families

Two families. Six sizes.
Same height, width and functions.

Every module stands 55 mm tall, so cylinders of different diameters lie level in one row. The smaller the tank, the deeper the cradle wraps it — a light tank rolls away easier, so it is gripped harder. A heavy one is held by its own weight.

Build your row

One set
at a time

  1. Pick a size for each cylinder you own — the connector is identical, so any module joins any row.

  2. One set includes two modules that hold one cylinder, and comes with the bungee and hook to secure it.

  3. Ordering more than one set? Tell us your preferred configuration in the notes — for sidemount, for example, we recommend a single bungee across both cylinders.

  4. Mix any sizes freely. −5% from the second set, up to −15% from the fourth.
